Private Rites

Three estranged sisters, Isla, Irene and Agnes, return to the glass house they grew up in when their father, a cruel and revered architect, dies. Rain has fallen for so long in this near-future city that the land has changed and old rituals are creeping back, and a revelation in his will tests the little that holds the sisters together. A speculative retelling of King Lear.
